Labrinth turns down Coyle for Cole?
1:28pm Thursday 2nd September 2010

Nadine Coyle has reportedly been snubbed by singer-songwriter Labrinth, because he'd prefer to get the chance to work with Cheryl Cole.
The 25-year-old Irish singer is about to launch her first solo album and had wanted Labrinth - Simon Cowell's latest signing - to pen tracks for her, but he is quoted telling the Daily Mirror that he would rather work with her Girls Aloud bandmate.
Labrinth said: "I was supposed to write for Nadine but I turned it down, it wasn't for me. She's a great girl but I'd prefer Cheryl and Girls Aloud as a whole, to work with all of them. They're hot together with that sound. "
He added: "Cheryl's my favourite. I've met her at the X Factor studios with Uncle Si."
Cheryl, 27, enjoyed huge success with her debut solo album, 3 Words, which saw her collaborate with will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
Nadine has been hard at work on her solo effort in Los Angeles.
She recently tweeted: "I really cannot wait for you to hear the single and album. I may say that a million times until you do. I am speaking with the director who does amazing videos and will shoot it in LA."
